krishna boundI would disagree that the US is striving for a "christian world"; it's striving for a neoliberal capitalist world of which its prior establishment just so happens to be culturally christian; american evangelicals are just a prop for a capital-based machine far beyond them.
While I like 300% agree about the west and not caring about muslim countries except where convenient...i don't really know if it's fair to classify this as some dichotomy of religious/ethnic support. Israel supports Azerbaijan over Armenia and Armenia has cut diplomatic ties (or at least withdrew an ambassador) with them because of it. Iran supports Armenia over Azerbaijan despite them both being majority shia...and Turkey is mostly suuni. Kazakhstan is is mixed muslim and they want a neutral resolution - and i'm pretty sure they are ethnically turkic. Albania is mixed islamic and they want a neutral resolution. These are just a few examples.I don't really think you can make this out to be a solely religious conflict; especially since that's not really the history that started the regional conflict either really to begin with.also, i will admit you are right about turkey & armenia, so sorry - I forgot about the soviet republic stuff prior to 1991. However I know there are no formal or biliteral relations, and they were never ratified.

Also, BoJo was mostly quiet and seemed worried when he was doing his pressers after COVID, and Trump's going to be stuck in bed all day with nothing to do but tweet angry rants about 'CHINA VIRUS WON'T TAKE ME DOWN', so idk if he's going to get the same amount sympathy

Its an inaccurate take.
Boris got it very early on, at a time when government support was already lifted just off of the general pulling together of entering into nationwide lockdown, as well as things like clap for carers.
Additionally, the push seen to forego parliamentary/public scrutiny isn't something that was initiated from patriotic support, its because the Tories have a near unimpeachable majority.
