Been waiting for the black Linnmon table top and grey Alex drawers to come in stock online for about a month now

You can purchase them now. Go for it. They're essential.

I already ordered mines and will be getting them in a few days.

Now I'm deciding on what speakers to get.

I'm leaning towards the Audioengine A5+.

    Corsair quality is nice.

My RGB build. I’d say only thing I’d replace is my sound bar and get something smaller with no RGB. But other than that I’m very happy and content with it.

Also, I highly recommend anyone getting Wallpaper Engine off Steam. It’s like a “Live” animated wallpaper, and some of them are even interactive with sound, music or cursor sensitive. Really brings your home screen to life.

It's weird to see a 2180 Ti... But yes that's a thing apparently. Also I am hearing that the RTX 3090 might be the Titan version of the Nvidia 30 series GPU's. Which might mean that it might not be the one to get if you want to use it for gaming purposes. But if not and that it's indeed the VERY high-end one to get as a PC gamer so is the one that I gotta get and especially the OC version of it by ASUS with whatever the VRAM options it'll have like 22 GB's or higher.

3 months? But it's rumored to be revealed in 3 weeks or less and then release in the same month which is September or hopefully nothing later than October 2020. But yeah since it's this close so would it be good to wait and find something else to game on like a laptop for example.

Oh, never mind then. I have until the 27th to return it.

Damn. Am I going to have to get a different motherboard as well? I have a X570 mobo.

edit: never mind, I'll have to upgrade the motherboard when I upgrade the CPU

Yes I think that might be a good idea.

Well you'll have to depending on how old your motherboard is and what CPU you're looking into getting. Intel doesn't tend to support the motherboards using their CPU's for a long time. I believe it was only a like what... 2-3 years support? More like 2 years it seems. Where AMD's is longer as far as I know. But I won't have to deal with this since I am not building a PC until I've the money for the build I am looking into building once probably around the time the next Intel CPU is out which is the 11900K or 12900K one.

I have a AMD Ryzen 9 3900x and my motherboard is a Gigabyte X570 Aorus Pro (WIFI). I hope AMD continues to support AM4 motherboards. If not, then I won't be upgrading my CPU until 2022.

Oh yeah AMD... I don't follow all of their stuff as much as the Nvidia/Intel stuff but I've heard some things about their upcoming GPU/CPU series and it's looking promising so far besides the 4000 series first coming to the laptops using an APU and I guess what's next is the desktop version of it hopefully which should be part of the Big Navi stuff coming soon.

AMD should support your motherboard more than what Intel would do but I don't expect it to be for a long time if they want to stay competitive and keep improving their stuff. I am looking forward to those tests/benchmarks that will be made with the AMD CPU's/GPU's or what's coming next from Intel/Nvidia... But I need Intel to start using something under 14nm (10nm or 7nm hopefully) if possible as AMD is ahead of them in that department.

yeah I've heard that rumor also that the rtx 3090 would be the new titan

I'd rather they add the 3090 as a new top card with a lot more performance, cause the titan really isn't that much better than the TI for gaming

I'm glad there is a rumor saying were getting AIB cards in September though

and whew yeah 22gb of ram would be amazing for the high end cards so curious to see

Yes the new one with 24 GB's of VRAM... Which wow I want that. And that's not even the OC version of it which could be over 24 GB's... The thought of that alone makes me very excited. I mean especially if it can do 8K gaming at 60 FPS with of course the CPU from Intel coming in 2021 that should help making this possible. Now I don't know how many games will be able to do that but I do imagine 2019-2020 games been able to do that with having to use multiple GPU's to achieve that.

Agreed I would prefer them doing that instead of a Titan GPU that isn't made for gaming and doesn't really have enough things to justify its price or VRAM for example. I think something new and better would be welcomed.

NGL I had to Google what AIB cards was... But yeah those OC cards from ASUS, MSI etc. should be good. I can't wait to see how much they can push those upcoming GPU's from Nvidia.

Yeah I mean the rumored RTX 3080 Ti is rumored to have 20 GB's of VRAM while the Titan one will have 24 GB's of VRAM. Which I would prefer it been the upcoming RTX 3080 Ti/3090 GPU. So if it's 24 GB's so would I imagine it been pushed to 26 GB's or more. But if not and it's the 20 GB's one then please OC it to 22 GB's or more ASUS, MSI etc.!

  • what speakers should i get for this Asus VP28UQG. i have speakers for music in living room but i would like basic audio output speakers for my monitor. the cheaper the better but not trash ones

Yeah that would be pretty incredible if it would game at 8k 60

Rumors are saying the top card will be about 40% faster than the 2080ti which would do 8k 60 in some games but less optimized games probably still won't get high. Still 40% faster will be awesome.. I'm really curious to see how much better is Ray Tracing, people are saying it could be like 200% better which would be a lot more useable but yeah who knows how true these rumors are def curious to see the final product.

And yeah the AIB cards will be better than the Founders edition cards and last time around they charged an extra $100 for the Founders edition but it took forever for the AIB cards to come out tho so hope that recent rumor is true.

Also yeah it would make more sense for them to do a 3090 above the 3080ti with HBM VRAM so it could run faster and use less power and have it be like 10% faster. Instead of just having a pointless card for gamers like the Titan.

Yeah I wonder where the VRAM amount will fall, there are rumors AMD might go 32GB for their top card which would be insane. I imagine though yeah Nvidia will do something in the 20s for the top card and maybe 11gb or 16gb for the 3080.

Really excited also to see how Intel competes with AMD next year, I can't imagine them competing with a 5nm chip with their own 14nm desktop line but maybe they will. I watched a bunch of their info about their new line of gaming products CPUs/GPUs coming out next year that they just put out today. It was super interesting to see that they're going to have 10nm GPUs made that they're saying will compete with the RTX line.
