i upgraded to 144hz like last year and coming from 60hz doom 2016 was a whole different game

Gonna be getting a 1080p 144hz soon as nvidia/amd drop their new gpus. Gonna be an insane upgrade coming up

Why not put the computer on the ground to free some desk space? looks like a tight space

ya it is a small spot. the only place i could have a desk at in my room. desk took a while to find to fit it

i might move the pc to the ground in the future, but its really not as cramped as it looks in the pic

it feels so smooth but I can’t stand playing at 1440p 120hz it feels like butter but it’s too blurry at 55 inches (I sit 3 feet away lol)

the annoying thing is that my Vega can do 4k Medium 90fps+ in older or well optimized games but only over DP and my new TV only has HDMI

I hope someone comes out with a DP to HDMI 2.1 dongle soon, maybe i’ll just wait for RDNA 2 cards anyway tho they seem like they’ll be a good upgrade

the response rate and image at 4k 60hz is incredible on this OLED tv tho games and media have never looked better I love this tv and can’t wait till I game at 4k 120

the 3060 will be as good as the 2080

All those performance improvements plus DLSS 2.0, our frames gonna be eating Might wait for the 3080ti depending on how close its release is to Cyberpunk

brand new PSU today shorted my motherboard

the rumors are saying the ps5 and xbx have 52 gpu cus scaling that up to 64 cus would be about the same as this rumored 3080
but there have been hints by an amd engineer that they’ll go to 80 cus and if that’s true they could even beat the ti

yeah i hope amd brings it and i hope the rumors pointing towards a october release are right
there have been higher end amd cards rumored over the years and they always get canceled my bigger fear with the rumored high end amd cards would be it being delayed

gpu prices are super overinflated cause nvidia has no competition

and yeah diss 2 looks sick hope more games have it coming up, also yeah gonna need the new gpu for cyberpunk for sure

yeah console graphics power really stepped it up this coming gen. i remember seeing that the series x gpu was matching the 2080 in a gears 5 demo. and their 8c/16t cpus

dlss 2.0 is fire. played it in control and it actually looks sharper than the true resolution and it allows enough gpu uplift to turn on all the rtx features. i really hope cyberpunk has it.

Ps5 has 36 or 40cu’s and xbox 52 i believe, there was a 64 cu rdna 1 card. It was scrapped due to power issues iirc, rdna 2 should have 64 and 80 easily all power issues have been fixed. All the leaks suggest the top rdna 2 card is like 30% better than a 2080ti and that’s from early sample leaks

yeah I've heard that about the power issue, I just get worried that amd will delay the cards but yeah it seems like RDNA2 will compete very well

and I keep hearing different things about the CUs on the consoles over the months, I think things are changing but yeah we will see once there out

this fall will be a great time for GPUs tho
