You’ll know ab this
Which GPU should I get an amd RX or intel?

Intel is the better deal but AMD has a longer legacy of offering GPUs so they have drivers that will work better with any random old game, more features but Intel is catching up
Intel - Cheapest
AMD - Middle
Nvidia - Premium

would work good, you can mix GPUs with any brand CPU
you just don’t want something that’s a mismatch tiers but that would be a good combination

dope i’ve owned a lot of AMD GPUs they’ve always worked well
mac book pro mid 2012 10gb ram
used for internet surfing and work
chrome and apps that depend on chrome no longer support Catalina 10.5
so im going to try to use Openpatch and upgrade manually to Monterey os. ( should be good)
i love this computer, its an awesome machine that has a lot of life left in it, but since its now unsupported i need to learn how to successfully build and extend it myself, for prideful and sentimental reasons.
wish me luck.

My first amd gpu. I’m coming from a 1070 so this is a major upgrade

how the tables have turned
Hunting for a 5070 Ti laptop deal.
See what Lenovo's saying on that Legion 5 Pro imo
Lenovo always get the most out of their GPUs
Some tech youtubers even think they secretly mod a higher power limit to their GPUs without mentioning it in the specs
finished putting together 6 computers for my Kubernetes cluster for AI training

Is your electricity bill f***ed or nah?
Anybody got any high RAM usage use cases they can recommend for me?
I got 96GB RAM for cheap before all prices skyrocketed and obviously I won't try and switch to a 64GB while prices are messed up
Currently thinking about trying a 48GB RAMDisk
GPU has 24GB too so I have been wondering what use cases I can use it for
Any suggestions?
Won a lucky auction in the summer and it had 96GB (2x48GB) of DDR5 in it, i wanted more than 32GB but 96GB felt like too much, was going to sell it/trade in & buy 48 or 64 but I let it sit for a while, only installed it a coiple weeks ago

only when i train AI models a lot otherwise it’s not bad
running inference doesn’t use that much power just a burst then it’s done

a RAM disk could be a fun project
linux/unix file system ZFS likes RAM if you needed a NAS
you could run an AI model and put a lot of the layers in RAM
you could spin up other virtual machines on top of your machine
those are the only times I use that much RAM tbh
