I just got a Playstation Portal and the built in Dual Sense controller is so comfortable. I wish Nintendo made some new JoyCon or perhaps a "ProCon" with a more traditional controller grip instead of the flat booty JoyCon.
I don't understand why Nintendo never experimented more with what you could attach to the console. All they ever did to the JoyCon was release new colours. They could've made a variety of controllers or accessories that you could slide onto the console. Cut a Pro Controller in half and attach that to the console. So many possibilities.
We and her mom are going to a concert tonight so imma be solo dolo

KTT failed me lmao but Drag x Drive is kinda cool. Would be way better over vc. Playing with randoms is pretty rough

flat booty joycon
i feel this but i genuinely do think the joycons 2 are legit good this time around, i havent felt the urge to use the pro controller for bananza or mkw at all. need to see how they hold up overtime though
i need a legit fps on this thing to see if the mouse mode s*** is actually viable, like when they had the conduit for the wii back in the day
might have to check out apex legends since they dropped a switch 2 version few days ago but i really dont wanna play battle royale in 2025 lol

I've seen it but haven't thought too much about it, and I rarely ever get third party accessories tbh. I can deal with the JoyCon as they are, so don't get me wrong. I just think it's a missed opportunity for Nintendo not to take advantage of the detachable/attachable controller feature by introducing alternative controllers that could be attached to the console.

The JoyCon 2 definitely feels better because the original JoyCon was a bit too small, but it's still mostly the same flat controller with small clicky buttons. I think it would be nice for Nintendo to introduce more controller options that you can attach to the Switch.

You’ll have to wait for Metroid Prime 4
this one will be a classic. i think it's about choosing your seat in a restaurant or classroom or car/bus

Something like "Pro" Joy Cons with better grips etc would be amazing
When there’s 5 minutes left of the new direct
This guy comes on screen

“We have no news to share on BOTW2 but we assure development is going well. We will have more information to share with you when ready”
U got anymore slots open on that expansion pack?
August 21st
classic game
this looks sick
Damn the Mina demo is fun, game's like a mix of 2d Zelda and NES Castlevania with some very light souls elements sprinkled here and there. The art style perfectly replicates the gameboy era just like shovel knight did with the nes, there's some assets that look straight up taken from link's awakening.
And playing on handheld is peak, that 120fps is bliss. Im definitely excited to get this

Game of the year
Hard to think this has been out nearly 70 days
Such a frustrating console to own. I absolutely love it but the lack of updates from S1 games and slow third party support is really making me regret buying it

I've already been thinking about selling my Switch 2 tbh (then again I was never truly sold on it from the start) but I think I should at least wait until the next general Nintendo Direct to see if there's at least one game within the next 12 months that is an absolute must-play.

Yeah I'm in the same boat. I really enjoy using it, I think the handheld experience is great and the Pro Controller 2 is amazing but the lack of games and then the lack of announcements is just making it tough to keep
Then the games that have been announced run like s***, FC 26, Madden, Star Wars - this early on those ports should be perfectly fine especially with the systems supposed power
I could wait a few weeks and play a slightly remastered Kirby I guess..

Pretty much exactly how I feel. I know it's still very early on in its lifespan but so far there hasn't been anything that has made me think "omg i need this" or made me feel like this is a new console generation. Feels like Switch 1 leftovers.
