bro the first showing had like 40 third party announcements
Nothing moved me
But tbf I’m definitely not the target audience for 3 party games on Switch, I bought it knowing I’d almost exclusively play first party.

Duskbloods is gonna be good though I can feel it

That’s true
Can’t sell it until then at least
Tbh this is 1 system I’m glad I didn’t buy at release because the 1couple months game lineup has not been all that enticing
Outside of DK I wouldn’t recommend it personally

MK and DK are both good games when you try them, but they def lack that "i HAVE to play that NOW" appeal you'd expect from a new console launch
And the one game that does have that appeal for me don't even got no release date

I’m assuming you’re like me and you mean Metroid. honestly it’s smart of them to wait to drop MP4.
Metroid is a series that really deserves to sell well but it never does, this gives it the best shot because later in the year a lot more people will have switch 2, plus with the switch user base, it really will have a shot this time
Sheesh I totally forgot about the showcase. Any highlights for yall?
no highlights for me, and all my predictions were wrong except for hyrule warriors
no date on that game either, just “Winter” which could be dec or 2026

Unfortunate. Checked a list of announcements and yeah, was an L for me. Not that I had any high hopes anyways.
damn guessing the direct was ass from the replies
Do you actually buy a video game every month? Do you really play games this much?
I don't know if I should feel jealous or.. sad
I play games almost every day
Tbh I was hoping for expedition 33 lol. But I know that is far fetched
That woulda been so dope to see on Switch 2.
Trying out this Elliot demo now
Ok this game is pretty sick. Def a cop for me
is anyone else on ktt2 into mario kart world or just me
am i the best MK world player on here by default?

We have a discord and stuff. I keep being busy when tournaments happen but it's a thing

i know, i'm the one who is in there trying to get ppl to play lol
i'm not even pushing for ppl to play with me, i am more wondering if theres anyone on here i can talk to about shortcuts and the new patch and intermissions vs 3 lap courses and whatnot
i'm still actively trying to learn trick-based shortcuts and i'm deep in mario kart world youtube and reddit
game is so deep with the shortcuts. i have 100 hours played already and yet i still need to learn and master so many shortcuts and strats

The Duskbloods was definitely my favorite announcement in the Switch 2 Direct back in April. I’m just hoping it’s gonna be able to run in 60 fps or offer a performance mode cuz the footage was all 30 which is kinda trash for a new game in this day and age. Same with Elden Ring.
I did not expect the direct to be like that at all lol. There were actually new announcements, and less ports than i imagined, and even then they werent those i thought would be shown off first. Square Is so funny for ending the direct with two similar games back to back, didnt give off the strongest impression unfortunately, and i say this as a fan of that art style.
Monster hunter stories 3 actually looked so pretty, didnt expect that!
Still no release date for hyrule warriors is hilarious.
Sega dripfeeding the Yakuza games is unfortunately how i feel most 3rd parties will move to maximize sales. Cant wait to get RE4 remake in 3 years!
But yeah, middling direct, not that im complaining, im still in layer 600 in bananza and i got tons of games to play in my backlog, see y'all in september

mario kart is so one month agao
need DLC ASAP to bring me back in
So the only hope I had during the direct was when EA Announced Madden that I was hoping EA would also announce College Football 26
WHY IS COLLEGE FOOTBALL 26 STUCK ON PS5 AND LATEST XBOX ONLY
Put it on Steam or Switch 2 you cowards
Other games like Persona 3 Reload I already own on PC. I knew this direct would be boring because multiplats I'd buy on PC if possible. But even then the games they showed I wouldn't buy anywhere (other than Persona 3 Reload)
First showing of a new generation should be way better than that. Nintendo not sending out devs kits before launch was a horrible idea
did they really do that?
Horrendous idea
This is why the Switch 2 has no games
I mean. They announced
Thats a pretty solid line uo
all I see i a bunch of snooze other than Persona 3 Reload which is useless if you also PC game
