Tbh I thought we were done with absolutely terrible directs with the Switch 2 lol
Not a good look tbh. Even for a partner one
Couldn’t even get Elden ring or any new RE games. Thought we’d at least get that
First showing of a new generation should be way better than that. Nintendo not sending out devs kits before launch was a horrible idea
I think they did send out dev kits though. Not only that, the Switch 2 hardware really isn't all that different from the Switch 1. It's just upgraded specs. Specs that are similar to a slightly stronger or on par PS4 Pro. I refuse to believe devs had that much trouble working on the console lol
What we're getting on the Switch 2 right now are a lot of games that already came out on the PS5 and Xbox so its library can be bulked up and basically catch up with the other consoles. I'd say give it til late 2025 to 2026 for the more unique and new multiplat games.

They already announced them coming to the Switch 2...

They even announced a From Software game that's coming exclusively to the Switch 2

I mean. They announced
Thats a pretty solid line uo
Call me crazy but i think the direct was decent
Its a third party direct not even an actual one

No games I’m personally interested in outside of Octopath, but I can see how’s that’s solid for some

I’m only interested in Octopath as well(and I already do have Persona 3 on PS5, so not rebuying it here).
Just think there’s a lot of variety here, that caters to anybody.
Personally my mindset with most of these things I’m just looking for 1-3 games that’ll buy.
I always feel like even if they had like 10+ games I’d want to play, it’s not like I’m gonna have time to play all those games anyway

Meant like a release date, unless they announced that somewhere else and I missed it
If I had to guess some time during the holiday season or early 2026.
Apparently the only real hold up FromSoftware is dealing with is cross-save functionality between consoles.
best announcement was plants vs zombies remastered
I've been in a tower defense phase lately. Any more you like? I need recs
Tbh this is 1 system I’m glad I didn’t buy at release because the 1couple months game lineup has not been all that enticing
Best genre
So W
I love me some JRPGs but im over the HD-2D phase
Octopath 0 is apparently based on a mobile gatcha game
it's taking the story and i have never heard bad things about the story of COTC
