how bad does drift get? my pro 1 controller has a tiny bit of drift but certainly not enough to make it a non functional controller. does it get aggressively bad?

Honestly I’ve had drift issues on all consoles this generation/last generation. It’s not a new phenomenon with controllers unfortunately. It’s generally just on one joystick which starts drifting heavily in one direction until eventually you want to replace it.

I like the Switch 2 console/hardware itself, but so far the first party software is really not that impressive or interesting to me. I need them drop a bomb. Tease a 3D Zelda or Mario for just 30 seconds to convince me this thing isn’t just a Switch Pro but the Switch 2, even if it’s just a remake of a big title. Show me something that blows me away like the Switch 1 announcements did.

i havent played DK yet but I plan to get it because of how amazing ppl say it is. to make a spiritual sequel to Mario Odyssey and have it have a unique new platforming system (destroying the environment) is very interesting IMO

Yeah most people out there are really loving DK Bananza. To me it’s just mid - but it always looked kinda mid to me, both visually and gameplay wise. The DK Bananza Direct made things more interesting but overall it just looked and felt like a last gen Switch 1 game to me. I know I’m in the minority with this opinion but it’s how I feel.

@Bliss i started a Mario Sunshine re-play. havent played it through in a while (10 years probably). doing it in the Mario 3D all stars game rather than in the GCN NSO virtual console.

only played like an hour so far but i'm really enjoying it and plan to play it all the way through
