I’ve played my s*** undocked like 2 times at most. Waiting on the killswitch grip to come in before I do any long plays undocked
I never played my switch 1 undocked a single time and probably won't play switch 2 in handheld mode either. Was thinking last night they should just have a cheaper screenless console version for people that don't ever play undocked.

i'm in the same camp. rarely play undocked. i'm a home gamer not a mobile gamer and i live alone so I always have access to my tv.
if they sold a switch without a handheld mode i would get that to save money on the console. this would be ideal
but oh well

Probably half the cost is in that fancy screen. So many people don't need to spend that money.

facts
and it's not like they never abandon the "switch" concept - the switch lite was mobile only so why not have an equivalent dock-only version!
Am I the only one that actually prefers BOTW over TOTK? Something about the simplicity of BOTW just sticks with me a lot more.
YouTube is full of Zelda traditionalists s***ting on TOTK. I prefer TOTK because of the imo superior combat, story, the three-level exploration game play loop and I just love the depths for some reason. They are like a huge limbo like state of existence. Both fantastic games tho but different imo

cause it would be a fundamentally different product, not just a pared down version of an existing product
Thanks, I need to add the newcomers to the discord too. Have been slammed but about to shower then pop up my switch
I'm hoping to just shiny hunt a mudkip fast aside from that tho
I failed and idk why. Barely any mudkips appeared compared to what I see online.
I made my sandwiches right but I haven't fully completed blueberry dlc.
Does anyone here have advice on this or know what I might be doing wrong? I've never shiny hunted or used sandwiches like this. Might ask in the pokemon thread
With all the effort I put towards this I might just end up transferring an egg mudkip for my scarlet run instead
they're saying this s*** indestructible

50 hits with a wrench for the screen to break

should i get a screen protector though?
(i bought one but havent applied it yet)

I’m like 50/50 rn with the switch 2
I like to play games and watch TV though so that’s why I enjoy being able to just play handheld when needed

the plastic is easily scratched so i would if u plan on taking it places

Also crafting whatever you want with ultrahand and fuse could've been it's own game. Recall allows for some truly mind blowing strategies. Ascend hits like crack at certain moments. Even adding one of these powers would've been amazing but we got all 4.
Actually? Or u just can’t find it
Im sure it exists I just still can’t find it.
I’ve searched everywhere on Salty Salty Speedway 20+ times and I still can’t find it.

The only time I use my switch on mobile these days is on airplanes rides but I’ll probably still take my switch 1 on planes. I don’t want to risk anything happening to my switch 2

Yep. I've packed my switch on enough trips etc to know I would rather just listen to music and enjoy the sights or talk to people or whatever. It's never comes out of the travel case.
cause it would be a fundamentally different product, not just a pared down version of an existing product
It would still play those games on a tv?
That's all it needs to ever do for some of us

I don’t think LCD panels are that expensive tbh, especially wholesale
haven’t touched mine yet but hearing about the 2hr battery life kinda disappointing coming from the oled ngl
was planning on using it mostly in handheld mode..
but i also won’t be playing this s*** outside my home ever so might not be that big of an issue if charging cable is long enough/they make an an extended charger for it later
its been a week and u still aint open it bro?...

the battery life sucks but its basically above average for most handhelds out with similiar power unfortunately
this is a big issue with the high power handheld scene right now. everything is bound by battery. Im hoping some breakthrough battery s*** comes out soon and we can just attach a battery pack to the device, but how heavy will that s*** end up
The battery is cheeks though
Turned on 90% charging cap to maximize resell value when OLED drops
i havent tested it to see how long itll last but my s*** did go down to the 60s after like an hour and a half of playtime so idk
its ppl saying the battery indicator isnt accurate so im not sure how much that factors into it

Add joycons that I'll never use to the equation and I'm sure they could've sold a pared down Switch 2 console for at least a couple hundred less. Also the battery etc.

It’s just not a Switch at this point lmao
You want a 2025 gamecube

Yes that's exactly what I'm saying
Why not make it an option for people who won't ever use the screen or joycons. It's just a waste of resources and could save alot of people a couple hundred bucks.

Have you done the battery calibration thing where you let it drain out then recharge?
