that's North America only right?
either way we expected it to sell out
now we wait 1 year to see a Pro announce
youtubers did so much free marketing for the switch pro that nintendo could phone in a minor oled upgrade and sell out to the casuals who dont know better
Preparing for shipment
@thebham
im actually really looking forward to using these on skyward sword for motion controls. the button mode works great but the experience was definitely designed for motion in the first place.

Lol, I honestly don’t think OLED Model would’ve sold out so quickly if it wasn’t for those rumors

I can see that, it’s similar to playing No More Heroes 1&2 on Switch.
MC may be the way to go, I’ll just wait to play SSHD when the joycons come in

Steamdeck putting out numbers. You can calculate how much they sold so far
Queue for each model in the us
the 64gb is around 10k in the queue. 25k queue for 256. 73k for 512gb
Wasn’t planning on getting Skyward Sword HD but one of my favorite local stores had it for almost 20 bucks off so I copped it.
Graphics are looking crisp and 60 FPS is nice but I’m already kinda bored of the gameplay and slow introduction tbh lol. Motion controls not as exciting and crisp as it was back in the Wii era, and swinging the sword with Joystick feels pretty weird compared to Joycon motion swings. Also, you can’t control the camera when playing with the button controls since the camera control button is the same Joystick you use to control the Sword if you’re not playing with Motion controls.

Sounds dope, I may get one because I really enjoy playing games in handheld mode now. Also I know you can get a lot of games much cheaper with Steam. We benefit in the end because Nintendo has someone to compete with when it comes to 3rd party games in the handheld space.

$70 in 2011

$60 + $80 in 2021

It feels so weird to have new joycons, I completely forgot how tight the joysticks are supposed to feel lol.
My pair from 2018 are sooo worn out, it’s been 3+ years since I decided to never buy joy-cons again because of drift (I caved because Zelda)
My gf been addicted to Stardew Valley I can barely get the Switch our her hands at this point lol

Swapping the joysticks out with new ones isn't too difficult a mod, I did it about a week or two ago and they work and feel real well. Just make sure you buy them from a reputable seller cause a lot of people sell broken joysticks as new

actually I just shipped my old joycons out to Nintendo this morning but f*** I should’ve thought of that
I’ll do that if my Zelda ones start drifting for sure, because Nintendo warned me I might get different colors sent back from the drift repair
