How much you sell it for
I sold the console and 6 games for around 400 in total
I wonder when the next Direct will be (guessing June or late summer) and if it will be able to convince me to get a Switch 2 cus right now things ain't looking very interesting.
i don't see them doing a june direct this year
prolly just a september direct
Idk I need to see more functionality than just decimating the scenery
I mean it’s not like every level will just have that one mechanic… you want them to spoil everything later in the game?
Personally I want to see less and less of games these days, the price is just insane and I want a fresh experience if I’m paying that much

if youre gonna jack up the price then you need to actually sell the game yeah
I could blind buy any mainline Mario/Zelda/Metroid but not
Oh by the way, I sold my Switch
This means that the OP of the Nintendo thread no longer has a Nintendo Switch, and does not plan to get a Switch 2 at launch. Right now I only have a PS5, which means from now on this thread will only cover Sony news.
lock thread ban op

only Mario kart is $80
DK being $70 is not “jacked up prices” that’s just Nintendo finally joining the current generation 5 years late

Ok well I still need convincing since I would have to buy a whole new system to play it
bananza does nothing for me from what i've seen. but i have never been a DK fan in terms of the mainline DK games
next 3d mario game should be open world in the style of Odyssey but set in the mushroom kingdon. so basically like Mario 3D world but open-world instead of linear
just set up virtual game cards for the first time and i am never buying a digital nintendo product again. every purchase after launch of switch 2 will be second hand so nintendo gets no more money from me. will hold on to 1 of my launch switch 2 until it is jail broken. once jail broken ima just sell my updated switch 2 and all physical games to someone. seriously this system is disrespectful and absolute trash. f***kkkk nintendo for this garbage!

Bowser's Fury
What are y’all’s plan for launch night? I got a Best Buy preorder so was just gonna go around midnight, but now I’m seeing people say they are going to be lining up hours early so now I’m trynna figure out if I should show up earlier
they better have a separate line for preorder customers..

it’s optional, you can opt out of the virtual card system and still choose the old method lol

nice thanks for letting me know. going to enable that now
System Settings > User Settings > Your User > Online Licence Settings and turn the setting to On.
Ok so to make it fully the old method you need to load all virtual game cards on primary system, and the use online licenes for secondary system.
I still use my console launch Switch 1 just fine and never felt the need to get the OLED. The OLED screen is beautiful but, it was never a necessity since the OLED didn’t even have a spec boost
If Switch 2 OLED doesn’t have a a spec bump, either just get the Switch 2 now or wait a couple years for the OLED model tbh
Switch 2 lite as well
Switch 2 lite as well
Yeah I think they might do that again too.
But tbh... I hope they do a NS 2 Pro too though!
Switch 2 lite as well
It’s possible we won’t see a lite model… a 4k capable console that won’t be able to do 4k would be weird
also they have switch 1 to fill the lower price point so it’s not as necessary as switch lite was at the time
switch 2 pro in 2028
switch 2 oled in 2030
switch 3 in 2033
Switch 2 in 15 days
