Prezu can get a new tv with a composite video input. last year i got a new sony bravia tv and it had this. this was important for me because i still play my PS2 for mvp baseball 2005. it doesn't have the red-white-yellow input on the tv but it has 1 input hole for this. i just needed to buy a $5 adapter off amazon to turn those red-yellow-white cables into one cable and it worked great.
baseball is obviously a timing-intensive game so i was worried about input lag from using this method, but i was pleasantly surprised at how well it played (no noticeable lag). the graphics on the big screen are what they are, but i was worried about this when i was tv shopping and i was happy with the outcome. no need to keep an old tv to play old systems.
if you have an old CRT id never throw it out. theyll never make them again and theyre beautiful

I also looked into converting the old systems to an HDMI input but that requires an expensive video converter that costs triple figures minimum
