fair enough but the Pro version of the switch is a real thing its just not coming till next year or the year after
Lol by that point 4K ain’t even gonna be the standard and we gonna be on to 8K or some s***
Maybe they should make a console that’s focused on not handheld play
Instead of giving us a f***ing OLED screen like this is Apple or some s***
Hell nah, handheld play is a godsend

NEXT YEAR ??? They know full well they didn't have metroid running off the current switch
Ok so this is $350
Say they decide to make a switch pro
…. WTF is it’s price point
At $400 and anymore… it’s the same price / more than a ps5 digital…. It’s already more expensive than a series S
Hell nah, handheld play is a godsend
Lol I’m just saying, clearly they prioritize handheld but they don’t console experience.
It’d be nice to get both you feel?
I kept waiting for the trailer to get good
Disappointed but I wonder what BOTW, Odyssey will look like on OLED
Every time nintendo just make me more sick and tired of them and how out of date they decisionmakers are

The Series S is really really cheap though so it would be hard to combat that
Switch has always been expensive IMO

I completely agree, especially since the majority of people playing switch between handheld and docked
I don’t think a pro version is coming next year. This is it.
We have no one to blame but ourselves tbh.
Nintendo steady be stumbling into good ideas and then not knowing how to capitalize

8K will never be standard across the board for content its pretty pointless unless you are sitting an 3 inches away from the TV
8K is a gimmick to me the file sizes would be wayy too big and with moving to streaming, streaming 4K isnt even acutal 4K so i cant even imagine streaming 8K

To be fair idk much about resolutions but I’ve been hearing niggas say the exact same sentiment about 4K when 1080p was the standard
Also not sure if you are all aware….
What you all don’t know or haven’t processed yet, is if you’re OLED TV owners, you know 30fps looks like a juddery mess on OLED. So that’s going to be a fun “upgrade”
So the switch would cost 500$?
Didn't know it'd impact the price so heavily tbf
We have no one to blame but ourselves tbh.

Fact

1080p is still the standard though, we ain't even move fully into 2k yet (although you should it's definitely an upgrade)
I hope this is right. Do you think they would keep all 4?
it’ll more likely be
Those fake rumors definitely will severely hurt the hype for this.
Makes me wonder why they waited so long to reveal it, expectations just got way too high these last couple months

Yeah, unless you're right up-close or it's a GIANT screen, anything beyond 4K is just gonna give diminishing returns, I don't have a 4K TV but friends who have them say it's definitely noticeable
