I’m loving Astro Bot like many others, and I’m really hoping it wins GOTY

The thing that sucks about it, which isn’t even the games fault, is that it’s almost like a virtual graveyard of dead / dormant franchises. I’m really hoping it doesn’t stay that way, and Sony wakes the hell up and give these older franchises some more love.

Hell I’m not expecting all the games referenced in Astro Bot to come back in some huge way, but some HD ports or collections would be nice

The good thing about making games for kids is you need to sell your console to them so you can never price your console too high for families

It’s possible mp4 comes later after the console release actually. Idk, there is obviously a big game they’ll show off with the console and since they already showed metroid it’s gotta be Mario right?

Knowing that, it seems like Mario is likely to be the day one game and mp4 would then come later so it doesn’t get overshadowed. Kind of a bummer but I’m gonna manage my expectations because this seems a likely outcome.
