For example, I’m a GameCube dude and THAT is Nintendo’s peak for me.

But the Switch has some of the best games in a couple franchises

And well 143 million consoles later, we are in the greatest Nintendo era

3ds can play any console that came prior, so take your pick idc. Pokemon black is often considered peak pokemon anyways so there ya go. If your gonna whine about sales just move on and stop responding

Odyssey and BOTW are clearly LOVED. From a critic and fan standpoint, as well as both selling extremely well

So many games from the Switch generation are some of my favorite games and possibly the best in the series.

Breath of the Wild is a 120+ hour experience that actually has almost nothing in it. Odyssey had 999 moons but 700 of those lack any substance whatsoever. I’d rather go back to a reward system every 10ish hours in Zelda than every 40-50 hours. And I’d also love to go back to a world where collecting items in Mario gives you a sense of accomplishment instead of just getting moons for throwing rocks around

You think people give a s*** about the 3d? Dude where have you been if you aren't aware of what they do?

You can hack one in minutes and wirelessly download games off your phone for an insane amount of consoles for one. The power is legit insane for a decade old handheld, which is why they had the 3d thing anyways but again no one cares about that

You ever hold a 3ds xl? Insane comfort even for Nintendo. Sales matter? Why do you think they released like 6 versions of it? Switch got only 3. You ever use that 3ds a***og on any Nintendo game? Arguably the best way to run a Mario 64 rom as well as GoldenEye.

You know how s*** online is for switch? Take a gander on what the 3ds had for online capabilities... Legit groundbreaking back then and it's still got better online due to mod support

Idk what games you care about but the console itself has a great ass catalog, strong argument for best era of pokemon, and obviously it was the first handheld they had running smash. It includes the full (very strong) nds catalog as well as damn near anything else, no other mainstream consoles can do that - not even PSP, and it's still beating out s*** like a rog or Odin for Nintendo play

I care about the tech, hardware, mod capabilities, size of full catalog, and aesthetics over sales and internet awards any day.and I know I'm missing a ton too

Those Zelda games don’t appeal to me, I don’t really play Pokémon anymore because I can’t get into it, and is wonder the 2D Mario platformer? I usually only play the 3D games

Normally I would’ve been stoked for paper Mario and Mario rpg but my disappointment in odyssey and botw really just made me give up on the console as a whole to the point where im not even inspired to shell out 500 on a new one

I wanted to play Kirby but I heard that was ass too

I said look at sales, critic reviews and the fans’ perspective and you went back to sales

Look at Mario:

• Odyssey is considered the best or 2nd best in the franchise after Galaxy 2

• Mario Wonder is considered the best 2D Mario since World from 1991

Look at Zelda:

• BOTW is the best selling Zelda game and it isn’t even close. Also considered the best in the franchise.

• Tears has mixed reception these days but most love it and is the 2nd best selling game and is more loved then its mixed reception

Look at Metroid:

• Dread is considered a masterpiece and in the top 3 Metroid games whether it’s 2D or 3Ds Metroid

• Dread is also the best selling

Look at Animal Crossing

• never sold like crazy but instantly became the best selling game in the franchise and is l led by so many people

Look at Kirby:

• The Forgotten Land is the best selling Kirby game is just so damn fun. This is what Kirby was meant to be

Look at Luigi’s Mansion

• best selling in the franchise and a technical marvel to show off what the Switch could do graphics wise. The most beautiful game on Switch and just so fun and spooky

Look at Pokemon

• well you got me here lol. 3DS has Seitfh best. Most Pokemon games on Switch are trash. But Arceus is so refreshing to the franchise and a standout game in general

Look at xenoblade chronicles:

• We have a masterpiece trilogy of JRPGs on Switch

Look at Pikmin:

• Pikmin 4 is the best game and the best selling in the franchise

The Switch has so many peak games in popular franchises. If the games aren’t for you, well that’s perfectly fine. You’re more than welcome to not f*** with any of them. But just cus you think Nintendo’s peak is another console, doesn’t make it fact
