They were waiting on stronger hardware to make one according to takahashi so id say its a safe bet. Im more curious about a new game, their art direction and scope will finally be able to shine

It’s a remake like how MP1 “remaster” is really a remake

Just because it uses the same bones (source code) as the OG, doesn’t make it a simple “remaster”

GameCube era games have aged the best IMO. It’s an old console but still modern enough that most games hold up

That’s why most people look at ported GameCube games and say “oh yeah those are just easy remastered”

We’re remembering them wrong. Go look at all the screenshot comparisons for this TTYD remake. The game obviously got rebuilt assets

Maybe Nintendo considers TTYD and MP1 to be remasters, but they are CLEARLY remakes to me
