Initially thought the peach game looked mid but I thoroughly enjoyed the demo I like the sword fighter parry/counterattack mechanic, it feels good

honestly they should’ve delayed it to switch 2 because these visuals in 4k would really take the experience up a notch, the visual design is one of the highlights for sure but you can tell the hardware is holding it back

i wasn’t trying to come at you, you said the game was gonna be too easy but your only evidence was the previews and Nintendo only let previewers play early levels which kinda teach you the mechanics as opposed to be challenging like later levels could be (I hope)

The trailers didn’t make the game look great honestly but after playing the demo though, I like it and want to play more lol

yeah this game kinda has Mario party vibes, but a single player adventure, it looks like its got a lot of varied mechanics and overall it’s a chill fun time theres so much coming out between dragons dogma and rise of the ronin, I may wait a while to pick it up but I’m way more interested now than I was after seeing the trailers

Apparently Princess Peach: Showtime! was developed by Good-Feel, the same studio that brought you Kirby’s Epic Yarn.
This explains the easy-peasy difficulty quite convincingly doesn’t it

But for what it’s worth, I actually enjoyed the demo
I don’t see myself copping it unless they greatly enhance its visuals & performance for Switch 2. The game’s presentation is doing a lot of heavy lifting for it and yet there are still technical limitations.
Gameplay-wise it has a bit of that licensed-game feel that was prominent in the 2000s, which is not what you’d expect from Nintendo in 2024, but if they can get the presentation up to modern standards then I’d be able look past the gameplay and cop it one day eventually.

Please save us, 3D Mario.

peach game is interesting. it feels good to play. I think the powers will be fun to see switch up. I'm still 50/50. I think I might also wait for Switch 2 for this game.

Three hopes is $40 on Amazon and Mario kart 8 deluxe is $53 on Amazon. I have $40 in Amazon money as well, so id essentially be getting three hopes for free and getting mk8 for next to nothing
