I have a feeling this upcoming generation is gonna be a huge leap forward. Switch 2 will be punching above it’s weight class because of deep learning/A.I., and I think as a result we’ll get some really ambitious games. Not visually I mean, but more complex and expansive worlds for games like Mario, Zelda, and metroid. I don’t even know what that’ll be like and that excites me.
Bro saw Xbox’s sinking ship and had to make a statement lmao
https://twitter.com/stealth40k/status/1755209883987693962Bro has made this exact same statement word for word like 5 times consecutively hes gotta be an AI
New natethehate podcast episode kinda hype tbh, although by the looks of it its confirmed were getting a mid direct, as expected

Yeah it’s always the same generic statement usually but it’s just especially funny he just so happen to say it around the time the Xbox seems like it’s doomed

Oh s*** it’s out? Every episode is always hype for me. One of the few trustworthy leakers IMO

Jaut finished watching it. I’m in the same boat man. The wait for the announcement can’t arrive soon enough
I’m sure we’ll get some kind of announcement in April when the fiscal year for them starts
Nate the Hate says Switch 2 will be revealed in March, aka NEXT MONTH

You don’t have to wait till April apparently
This Twitter thread got me hyped and reassured me that Switch will become the best selling console OAT
The fact that late last year, they were 20+ million away made me feel like nah no way. But now that’s it’s 15 million with plenty of time left, I definitely think it can do it and be the GOATEST console OAT
There’s hella games I wanna replay on switch but I’m holding off because I’m just imagining how good they’ll look on switch 2
When put into perspective like this, the Switch will definitely become the best selling console OAT
Greatest console so soon I’m afraid

Been thinking about getting into fire emblem. Should I cop three houses or engage? Both are full price as of now lol

I’ve only played TH.
I’ve been a FE fan since the mid 2000s and I skipped Engage cus the character designs are horrid, and the summoning gimmick is a direction of the series that I don’t wanna see being pursued further.
I heard Engage’s story is terrible, and so are its character interactions and motivations.
TH’s narrative setup was engaging to me (although the lite simulator aspects of its school setting can get tedious), and the gameplay was a blast. However, I’ve heard Engage’s gameplay was just as great; it’s just everything else about it brings the whole game down.
On a slightly different note, I enjoyed Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp quite a lot, and it made me start to prefer the AW series over FE 👀
But that game is light on the narrative aspect, so if you want a strategy game that makes you care for its plot and characters then I recommend Three Houses.
edit: Or even better, wait for the new February Direct that’s rumoured for this week. They might announce a new Fire Emblem remake there and it could be a good starting point for newcomers of the series
Isn’t it INSANE how not only did Switch make Nintendo relevant again, but it also revived DEDICATED PORTABLE GAMING (in a post-mobile world) at the same time
I know some only play in TV mode, but that’s the beauty of Switch; it conforms to your lifestyle.
Personally I’ve mostly played Switch in handheld mode (like 95% of the time), and it’s still impressive to me seeing Mario Kart and Smash in HD running on a portable console at 60fps.
Sure Joy-Con are terrible, but I bet I can still beat most casual Smash players that use a GameCube controller
New Animal crossing on switch 2 is gonna be so insane because you know that they’re getting a big ass check for that budget lmao
44m copies is insane, quickly passing botw and odyssey… those are flagship titles had been out since 2017… f***ing crazy
