You might've seen a rumour or a fake tweet. The official tweet from Nintendo came today at 10 AM ET announcing a Direct for tomorrow (Thursday).

Mentioned or less - gonna be a switch 2 title. Might be a mention of prime 2 but not sure

but they announced switch before the holidays in 2016

This direct is basically either the final switch 1 direct or the first direct where they show off switch 2

I wouldn’t be shocked if they save the reveal for its own announcement video later this year, instead of including it with the direct, though
