Oh snap, I didn't know the sale was in Europe as well. Mario Rabbids is like 12 bucks Zelda like 30% off. But I just remembered that my Switch been bugging since they released that system update 12.03 or whatever that caused download issues and SD card hiccups for many Switch players. Hopefully I can download some ish. It's a bit inconsistent.

Yeah but as a person who has played MK8 since day 1 on Wii U, another MK isn’t needed. However it’s way too profitable for Nintendo to ignore. It’s probably Nintendo’s most recognizable franchise, even more than the Mario platformers at this point.

I've a mario kart stan who's been playing 8 since Wii U, so if anything I should be someone clamoring for 9. But idk, 8 is the best game in the series IMO and Wii U only sold 13 million consoles so I'm pretty much okay with them pretending Wii U didn't exist in this case. I still play 8 Deluxe and love it. I don't really need another one. Not sure how they could even improve on it.

I agree that MK8 is very profitable but just because something is profitable doesn’t mean we shouldn’t ask for something new. Idgaf about Nintendo’s profits, it doesn’t affect me. Them slightly cannibalizing their sales doesn’t hurt their bottom line at all lol, they’re a multi billion dollar corporation.

As a consumer, I would like a new game with more features and modes and stuff. That’s just my opinion tho

There’s a lot of things they can do but they probably feel like if the bare minimum is getting them more profit than what they project then whats the point
