Nintendo just needs to get their s*** together and keep hiring devs, they dont need new ips or other ips with all the s*** they got but dont use. Good thing they've started already investing a ton on this.
Earthbound, star fox, pikmin, donkey kong, golden sun, f zero, kid icarus, wario land are all series that would add a lot to Nintendo's offering even if they're not all big budget games, but the reason we're not getting new games from these franchises is that they dont have the staff. They'd only lack fps (besides metroid prime), mobas and wrpgs but nintendo's playerbase doesnt play those kind of games
