There’s a new switch in 2023?
Not announced but based on reports that should be the timeframe. I highly doubt we're waiting until 2024 for a new one

That’s actually pretty soon for Nintendo do u think it’ll flat be a new console or a direct sequel to the switch?

It would be year 6 of the switch actually so not uncommon for nintendo really. And i dont really know what Nintendo will market it as, and tbh it doesnt really change anything, as long as its a upgrade. If its a tangible upgrade they could market it as a successor tho, and it seems to be the case
Haven't gotten far in MH Rise yet but these quality of life updates are crazy
Auto craft, resource collecting only taking half a second, everything's so much more streamlined than MH Tri. And the Wirebug is too fun to use
Indie World showcase announced for tomorrow!

my playtime for this year is 666 though 😳
You either buy it now and play all the great games you missed out on or you wait until 2023 to get the next switch which will most definitely have backwards compatibility so you can also play these games and more. So it really depends on how much you want it or rather how long you're willing to wait.
Nintendo last year said that they're barley halfway through the switches lifecycle, so I doubt we'll see that by 2023 lol.

yeah but they continue to say that the switch is an ecosystem of gaming. So an upgrade would likely be more like the New 3DS I'd guess.
They need to pump that stock price up lol

The Wii lifecycle was extended by the Wii U, which was a more powerful console
They’ll do the same for the switch I’m sure
