Me too, i hope they do this kind of stuff for more series. I don't like achievements, but these are clearly challenges that don't intrude in natural playthroughs and give valueless digital cards that are still cool to have

If i have to rank the shows a lil objectively it would go:
#1 SGF 8/10
#2 Nintendo Direct 7/10
#3 State of Play 7/10
#4 Xbox Showcase 7/10

Regardless of the scores this was one of the most fun gaming summers in a long time so im happy

One thing that hurts every Nintendo direct with enthusiasts is they own other consoles and they always prefer to play third party games on them, so Nintendo got the impossible task to have enough new exclusives for every single direct to have a great show, which is impossible for any publisher. Like they have at least a game per month scheduled for release and thats not enough.

I think theres also still a misconception about Nintendo's audience having a very big casual and also female sphere, so you of course also get late ports and games like hello kitty showing here. Most people on Xbox and PlayStation play the big AAA games, including the enthusiasts, so they make a better impression.

Not that any of this really matters, its just a series of ads after all, but i find it fascinating nonetheless
