Its just weird to me how retro eras of gaming are held with such reverence by people while simultaneously being seen as these absolutely unplayable relics that desperately need to be remade

Resident Evil remakes alone prove it can be totally worthwhile

we just dont have the technology to play them anymore

It can be worthwhile im not arguing that i just think its sad that we're in an era of remakes when we could be focusing on new exciting things

My biggest problem with it is when the original works arent even made available and basically get replaced by their remake (see silent Hill 2, demons souls)

Thankfully not the case with ocarina of time yet

its so f***ign annoying i can't play the OG silent hill quadrilogy
