QB guru coach
Starter that is universally considered to be league average/game manager.
Realistically those other guys aren’t that much of a downgrade from Jimmy.
I understand that injuries have hit them hard over the last couple years but every coach isn’t afforded this level of leeway. And given Jimmy’s injury history most GMs would have been criticized for not having better back ups in place anyway.
To be fair this is a different conversation if their SB run was year 1 or 2 and the years since were losing seasons but to say they don’t get a pass from the media is simply not true
They did not have good rosters in 2017 or 2018 and Nick Mullens/Beathard/Hoyer were abhorrent. Mullens was a dogshit sandwich and is already out of the league, Hoyer was a 32 year old career backup and Beathard is a 3rd string QB atm.
If you wanna get at Lynch for not having a better backup QB yeah I guess cool but like beyond that im not sure what the criticism is supposed to be.
