I understand that injuries have hit them hard over the last couple years but every coach isn’t afforded this level of leeway. And given Jimmy’s injury history most GMs would have been criticized for not having better back ups in place anyway.

To be fair this is a different conversation if their SB run was year 1 or 2 and the years since were losing seasons but to say they don’t get a pass from the media is simply not true

McVay is another “offensive genius” type. Hasn’t had a single losing season and was still heavily criticized through most of last season because the team regressed.
