Yea i think it also just depends on what synth bass. Because some of them can straight up knock without any extra low end

I think of a song like this where, the buzzier aggressive sub doesn't knock, but its presence is felt with the main one

is there an options.txt line i can add that makes my midi controllers velocity default curve 127? my keyboard is old as s*** and the velocity only goes to 63 :(
