First beat I made in two months. Hopefully I got my groove back. I had been really uninspired until recently, so i was doing mostly sound design & Co. Prod work until I finally got out of it.

all of the parameters for the instruments are set differently when I search for a drum sound I want, but for some reason thats not happening and the parameters are locked on the one from the previous sound

Personally i haven’t used it but it could probably be a good start to learning synthesis and sound design so I definitely say go for it. There’s other synths that you can use too like the Arturia V collection which you can also use to get more similar sounding synths to the ones they use in their production or the even get same sounds. And switching synths once you already know how to use one is easy it’s all really the same tools just a different layout.
