what yall opinion on torrenting vsts? cuz i do it like a mf and now have some of the gear that the pros use

Been doing it since i started and haven’t stopped yet. I advice to only really start buying once you start making money from music. Everyone you know that has made it has torrented in the past or maybe even still does to this day. I remember kanye and mike dean even got caught up because they accidentally took a picture and had piratebay up looking for the best synths on a google search literally we all do the same s***

Youll never get where you want to be if you talk to yourself like that. That only hold you back. You have to be your own biggest fan and biggest supporter because its not a given that someone else will be. You have control over where you take your life so keep telling yourself better not worse. Dont tell yourself something that you wouldn’t want anyone else saying to you. Just because youre saying it about yourself doesnt make it right.

truth bro, speaking my voiceof reason right back at me

feeling right about oneself and one's work, one's odds is always a fluctuation but if there's nothing from my part to change that then it'll always feel outta my control

Do not buy a MacBook unless you want to struggle torrenting vsts bro im so serious. Everything is on Windows. Mac has most of everything to but it’s just harder and it works less and then you have to go find another one and sometimes the crack is only for windows and the s*** that i hate most is that sometimes you’ll download a crack for mac but then you open that s*** up and you have to run the keygen in windows like what dumbfuck thought of that s***

Its not change its progression and sometimes that nobody misses out on. Ive been producing since i was 14 and now I'm about to turn 20 in two months to get where i am now and i wasn't even as good as i am now even a couple months back and in a couple more months ill be even better than i am now but if i stop then ill halt the progress and nothing will improve. My getting to this point just hit 5 years in the making in the fall and it will never stop and you’re on the same path but you wont improve if you don't keep pushing through anyway. Im mot gonna lie there were plenty of times where i was completely filled with anger because i wasn't good enough and sometimes took a break for a week or two but i never quit because i knew how bad i wanted it and i knew that I could get it and i wouldn't stop for anything to get it. You have to want it like you’re suffocating and need air. If you keep going theres no other choice but success

Bro if i wasnt working that job senior year and was just only making beats i always wondered how it would have gone and what i would have made and how much faster i would’ve progressed. Glad i did it tho

that's crazy that producers and engineers put all this effort over the years and there are rappers who can pick it up in months. do you feel like you have a lack of respect for those who didn't put in the time like you?
