I see what you’re trying to say. I felt the same way about DOOM/Dilla/Madlib when I first heard him and then soon after no one could compare and I was just stuck on a loop and then Mach showed up. I won’t doubt the same will happen to Mach but we all live and grow. Mach and the rest of them will always be in my heart for how they made me feel listening to them. There’s always new music to be listened to in the future.

I'm saying though, let's see. If in 5-10 years y'all still be riding for Mach and he's still out there doing what he's doing then I'll hold up my hands and say I was wrong about things. I bet as soon as the gimmick fails, he'll disappear and he'll be a footnote. It's not so much I have an issue with Mach, it's the disrespect of other artists who have done it longer, better and showcased more of a skillset that is the point I'm trying to get at here.
