imo there's more of those bars the further back you go. it seems like mach made goon grizzle, which was still definitely left field and above-average for the time, and then incubated his craft for 10 years before popping up somewhere near god level in 2013. that whole project is way more conventional in terms of song and bar structure. even some loosie 2013 tracks got some struggle bars tho: "my principle investment was a smith 'n, nah, n*gga, nah, oh nah, oh nah he didn't, thats what they always sayin cuz i be on my prisms, most of my friends go to prison, listen." Halfway there but not quite.

I just don’t like that one line; that’s one of my favorite beats he’s ever rapped over. That’s one I would have liked for him to have made a video for but it doesn’t seem like there’s as much of a relationship between Hus and Mach these days.

The worst offender on this front (although I don’t personally dislike the crooning; always loved “SHPSHFTR”) is the “Tamrind Targets” chorus but it’s so over-the-top it’s funny.

I’m with Yolk on this, I like the fashion bars. The Moschino with the Mighty Mouse, all of it.
