Like I think 99% of people on here use album threads to discuss albums and use artist threads to discuss random bullshit like IG posts and stuff like that. It’s not like i’m gonna go into the ye thread to post VULTURES 3 updates

Also you have so many small artists that don’t really warrant individual threads for each album because they barely break 10 pages even when consolidated in one thread. No one wants thirty threads that have 5 replies each vs just one thread for cases like that

@proper & @provider beg to differ about small releases not warranting threads, pretty sure each of them has at least 500 threads on releases from small artists that have 3 posts max

think of it this way:
when you filter on an artist in music sxn (which you can currently do, look at the url when you click on the popular artists & just change the name), it’s so much better to see 10 threads over 2 years with 1 reply each than 1 thread with 10 replies total over 2 years
