oh i didnt know this character was in other arcs, that makes more sense then.

i saw the court of owls made a cameo too, there was a famous arc with them too a few years before this. so i think youre right this probably needed more backround

ya batman who laughs design was fire and maybe i should've done a bit more research on this cause I thought this comic would've been the first time they ever interacted w each other but apparently its not

So for the story, while some parts were cool like the multiverses Br00ses and all, the story felt a bit hard to go through. ESPECIALLY SOME OF THE DIALOGUE HOW IT WAS PRESENTED WITH AT TIMES RANDOM WORDS HIGHLIGHTED IN RED THAT I CANT PINPOINT like batman who laughs'henchman turned out to be a bit dissapointing at the end with how the gordon's easily manhandled him... I also didnt kno James was a murderer in the past As for the bat who laughs itself ya design was crazy and he aura farmed most times he appeared especially in the last issues. The way it ended was a bit of a letdown as i expected more a cool fight between em but ya.

Cool art, nice villain design, good story but expected more!

Et is the only one that doesn't feel this way somewhat

I have read worse comics for sure but this wasn't like super good to me either idk

It was a fan service miniseries tbh that's my conclusion

This was for big Batman who laughs fans to jump up and down and clap and get all excited

And that's fine I just had no former experience with him

Idk it’s more the deus ex machinas of it all. 250 pages to set up “omg no actually i used my special magnet to change the green light to red early, haha” and then it’s over
