I guess he was just convinced that if he introduced immortality, it would ruin the beauty of the world. I think the moral of the entire comic was just enjoying it while you’re here as opposed to desiring to enjoy it forever

like he spent/wasted his entire life chasing immortality and realized he became his happiest/most content when he was just recuperating small animals and enjoying the simplicities of life instead

My issue is that she personally says she was responsible for the death of millions as though she personally did it. They don't really make it clear what her role was, just that she's nervous it would be list. If she wasn't doing anything anyway why would it matter

this is something he realized after years of doing it and not introducing the concept of immortality to the world

they don't make it clear why he basically said NVM about the whole thing at the time. They only offer an explanation from him with perspective he would have gained years after already not doing it

But it was good

I just think pushing it to like 12 issues with more concrete explanations would have made it a lot better

he says that the day he discovered immortality, he went out to tell everyone and instead started doing stuff he enjoyed but hadn’t done in years first, and that’s when he realized that stuff was better

the reaction to finally achieving your goals being watching a movie and then saying nevermind explained in maybe 3 pages isn't satisfying enough for a reader

but I was saying years because that's when he finally offered an explanation that made sense. Him holding that opinion after years and becoming wiser makes sense. Him making that decision after having a good night when he was done working on solving death makes less sense

I needed more of a story there for when he initially made the decision. Instead we got barebones and him learning some super impactful lesson just from scraps essentially

idk necessarily, like when you’re hyper focused on this one thing and your entire life revolves around it for years and years and nothing else, and then you finally achieve it but realize you just wasted 40 years of movies and carnivals and whatever; it made sense to me

A good time watching movies is not a satisfying explanation for your entire world view changing I'm sorry but I refuse
