haha maybe! if u take it a lot its def a huge nuisance to stop and its obviously habit forming.

also coulda just taken some garbo stuff since the potency varies so much. or maybe you just metabolize different and dont get the effect i would get. or maybe u just idk dont like the effect.

did u ever try or enjoy regular painkillers? (not saying u should lol just wondering if u enjoy that whole scene)

like i hate stimulants. ive done lots of them and just dislike them they make me anxious and i hate come downs

sure! i mean having a reflection different than where a face is looking intentionally, isnt enough to impress me or anything tho.

but art all subjective if people enjoy it then thats great!
its def interesting since he was a president and stuff. i think whats interesting about it isnt any of his techincal skill, just that theres this guy who started wars (to put it kindly) and was the most powerful peson on earth making stuff. You get a little insight into how his brain works

techincal skill wise, if i were to see his paintings without any context of who made them, it strikes me as sunday painter

what do you think about it honestly, before you read my opinion? i wanna hear what u think!! its like camille vs me listening to a song. where he is classically trained and i just enjoy a good vibe. still insight to gain off both our opinions

im pretty sure he’s painting film stills so the compositions here aren’t of his own invention but its still cool I think

My main thoughts echo what you said about how its a former president and interesting to see what he came up with here.

bush is (pun intended) painted as a pretty dumb guy so i’d be interested to know what the artwork means to him and the thought process behind it.

ya one of my fav things about art, especially visual art is you cna look at it any way you want. If you wanna look at a davinci for only its colour, you can. if you wanna judge jackson pollock’s abstract art from the perspective of a figure drawing and anatomy, you can. you can always isolate elements and everybody has thing they look for and negate.

personally i mostly enjoy composition so thats what im searching
for. but some people dont care about that at all and only care about the meaning and context and message and everything. which is cool too. some people only care about the historical context of a piece! art historians!

so theres def a lot of valuable things to take from his work from the perspective of a historian, emotional messages, context of who he was and where he made it etc. but that’s usually an afterthought with my taste.

whether he is dumb, i honestly have no idea. obviously you have to be smarter than a lot of people to become president, even if your dad was president before you. he clealry was a poor public speaker. morality aside, he navigated doing things for his donors wanted that the population didnt (like starting wars), whether to torture people, how to spy on people etc. which are really crazy things to wrap your head around. how far do you go for your donors desires, how much public flak can you take and still keep your job. he was obviously succesful at it, which requires intelligence for sure

these are a lot better. the first one not so much, although obviously his rendering and stuff is pretty strong.

but the second ones compostion is pretty solid. he obviously studied!
