As everyone became more and more online the mainstream internet tactics started becoming corny to people and the crazy underground internet people like 4channers already leaned right so it was too easy for them

canada is just widely way more left leaning than usa. our right is like an american soft left. and our left is what republicans are scared of lol.
but there are pockets that are just like usa.

I dont know how to peg canadians. I think canada is just so subservient to the usa we have to somwhat support their wars.

and our system is differnt where we have 3 major parties and if you dont have a majority you have to cooperate with another one. so things get pulled into a left direction since we have 2 left parties and a conservative one.

same. i think people didnt take memes seriously for a long time but theyre a serious way to communicate even though theres a lot of humor in it.

like before the 1900s comic books didnt exist really like they do now. its a new art form. combining quick images with words to tell intricate stories was very rare or difficult to do.

the 21st century with memes basically enabled that image+text way to communicate large amounts of info in a shorthand way, its like that all of over again, but much more influential
