It takes too long to look through stuff and find something with it. Then, there’s a ton of people looking through stuff so you have to wait for them to finish before it’s your turn. Then you end up not finding anything good and realizing you wasted an hour for nothing

It’s not specific to seeing friends though. Anytime I have to be somewhere at a certain time or expend energy socializing with acquaintances or god forbid strangers…. Damn near ruins the whole day before and the day of for me. It’s usually actually a good time once I’m there. I just have this thing in my brain that makes me abhor schedules and obligations.
