i only care about the construction of music and the actual theory behind the compositions
everything else is just meta junk non musical people use to try and understand their songs better because they don't actually understand how music works

i respect it on a level
your philosophy of music is coming from the formalized art/classical side and mine is almost entirely popular and folk musics

a few Kanye songs now I've been enjoying way more than I ever did recently even though ive known them for 10-15 years like Blood on the Leaves which is in my top 5 i think now
