our brains and ears change depending on new perspective and understanding that we gain through multiple listens, especially when in between those listens we gain more context or experience or changes in taste

Sue tried to jump off an end table and tripped and she went and sulked under a different table for 20 minutes

She was very embarrassed and I think her revenge she is planning for that table will be very intense

i can hear a song twice and replay it instantly on the piano

    there's nothing to it RVI

nothing cringer than spinning the same song 30 times and then going "wow i can hear a bell in the second chorus that i never picked up"

    skill issue

its not about hearing the specific parts of the music like something was hidden before. or about just spamming a bunch of listens in a row

do you think your taste hasn't changed at all over your entire life? are all your current favorite songs the exact same as they were like 10 years ago?

this is the key to getting into drastically different styles of music

if you hear something that youre not used to at all and barely know anything about it throws you off no matter how hard you pay attention to what's literally going on musically

youre arent truly ready to welcome it into your ears and heart yet

i only care about the construction of music and the actual theory behind the compositions

everything else is just meta junk non musical people use to try and understand their songs better because they don't actually understand how music works

    simple really
