My main stresses in life are my commute and lack of sleep. WFH basically fixes both of those instantly. Also, like you have the freedom to get chores done on your breaks which probably leaves your actual free time much better
the maintenance of cleaning, clearing s***, doing something outside in between the time i have kids and students coming is way easier because when it's a tuesday when i have 0 lessons on i can just be a slob and relax

nah you right for sure. but i dont think wfh is like cure. i think it is heavily dependent on the job you have. theres no chance i can do chores during my day.
dam
i can do whatever i want during my day mostly lol
on a good day if theres nothing to fix or that i really have to get done i just have to do like 2-3 hours of real work per day. other than that just light meeting and monitoring stuff just in case
i mean, legally? sure. do i actually get to take it often? no
I don’t think that’s the average experience though. Friends I have that WFH make it sound like heaven.
You also gotta take into account the money you’re saving on gas, tolls or bus/train fares plus buying lunch and coffee etc. makes the job theoretically more lucrative

yeah, i think it really depends on the role you're in. my job isnt like that unfortunately.

Yep
i finally muted slack after 5pm and removed it from my homescreen on my phone. i also try like burying my work laptop under a sweater or something in my office so its hidden.
Yeah you really gotta set those boundaries with yourself like unless you’re a real high earner or have large ownership in what you’re working on you gotta stay strict on those boundaries

i make good money but not enough to justify that s***.

yeah if you have like a genuine amount of ownership in a company its worth doing. but too many people who have 0.00000000001% of a company get convinced by the c suite in all hands that if they work 14 hour days and weekend they'll become rich.
I am a slacker for life
i will ALWAYS, 100%, guaranteed slack at my job
