Do you prefer painting boring real things though? Do you do cartoons ever ?
oh so like not just being able to copy that painting, but create something similar in quality.
yeah i say 10 years out practising 8 hours a day 5 days a week.
which isnt too long over a lifetime, and normal pace for painters.i do do cartoons but not too often. i enjoy doing them a lot.
what i prefer changes a lot on my mood.
studying and copying paintings teach me so much about them its like watching and movie for me. sometimes im in the mood for that.
sometimes i feel really creative and wanna make something original. sometimes i make fully abstract art work.at my animation jobs a lot of what i will be doing is cartoons and my mentor is most famous for the cartoon he made. but to make good cartoon you have to spend year and years doing them “boring real things”
cartoons are the hardest thing TO draw, since theyre so simple, there is no room for error. they look easy because theyre done so well its deceptive- Apr 11

not painted but drawn her dozens of times for animal drawing classes.
animals are my weakest skill by far.
so i should be drawing her everyday but im too distracted making my portfolio

kinda like how vinyls adds a warmth and hiss and crackles and changes the sound.
its not objectively better per say but a different experience that can be better subjectively depending on the music.very cool they change the sound like that.

have you thought about uploading rips of it to youtube or soulseek and stuff so people can experience it?or can you not capture the sound really unless its in real life
