Was expecting vampires and got like a full hour of not that

I literally hit a Leo lean when the twin saw his brother getting eaten and shot the s\*\*\* out of Hailee’s fine ass bc the movie got way more interesting to me

Second watch i appreciated the first half a lot more. I think the barn fight is a mess tho and I don’t like the ending kkk stuff

I want to get shot wit those sleeping darts they do animals at the zoo evey night to go to bed

I don’t hate it now but extremely gassed bc black people don’t get this kinda thing often and it’s mostly competent for what it is. If it opens the door for more “serious” black films then it’s fine by me but this had alot of issues imo

I was mad first watch bc they didn’t go like full balls to walls in this aspect. It’s super tame when the opportunity to go full Dusk till Dawn was there

also poor filmmaking in general, inconsistence colour grading in the scenes, aspect ratio changing at odd times for no apparent warrant.. I forget the plethora of other s*** that bothered me but myself and my gf began to enjoy hate-watching it as it went on
