Like I know it’s cliche but I grew up with being cognizant that I need to struggle to achieve what I want. And I think that’s helped me a lot in life.
I think the kids we raise today are generally made to believe that they are entitled to be treated fairly, receive the same thing as everyone else, etc. and we all know the real world doesn’t work that way.
So when they become adults they get really f***ing blindsided
I know this is your justification for hitting children but that aside I do agree with you on this post.
wow no tags all day
this thread is a stinker!!
if Camille jr starts punching you in the nuts are you punching back?

very real post
How many 8 year olds do yall think you could take on at once
You don't get to pick height, gender or health. They're just 8 year olds drawn out of a hat.
@camille heyyy

no i'd just yell at them
words do more damage than hitting your kid

What is this ?
Again, that’s more the kids than the parents. Nature is a large part, even though obviously nurture is also a large part.
But let me ask you, let’s say your 8 year old son keeps punching you in the d*** and laughing every day. And you’ve already said “Nort Jr, please stop” countless times, took away toys, took away tv or tablet privileges, whatever. You’ve tried everything. And you still keep getting d*** punched.
What do you do? Easily solved by punching him in the d*** once imo
I think the complete anti corporal punishment take isn’t necessarily it either
I’m not advocating for beating your child but at the end of the day sometimes there is nothing else you can do. Shouldn’t be your first go to
When I see guys get driven around by their girls I ask why
It’s honestly a flex you lost
This is why I hate self help books generally. They are often designed to make you feel good about yourself instead of actually better yourself.
Which is another symptom of the “everyone is a special snowflake that can’t possibly be actually damaged” society we’ve created
recently a friend had told me hes trying to get into reading and then was saying he bought like 8 or so books that all sounded like self-help to me
i was just sitting there like
im sure a few might be good though who knows tbf

It's hand to hand combat. Let's say it's taking place on a football field so there's plenty of room and nobody's getting their skull cracked on a hard floor. An 8 year old is considered defeated if you knock them out or they surrender.

Just a spanish session and ET saying he will punch his kid in the d***
No funny posting
Why would I want a girl scaring me with her driving when I could instead scare her with mine (except I won’t get us into an accident)

That’s not how cars work
You sit on the left side of the car when you drive
i'd never have kids anyway
i'm too depressed to have a child and the moment you do you're not allowed to kys no matter how bad your life gets
anyone with a family that kills themselves is a first ballot piece of s***
I think it really depends on you and the therapist tbh.
At the end of the day we all have issues and they don’t all need to be “solved”. But some people prefer to address or tackle them different.
It sounds like you and I are similar in that we want someone to be blunt and just be like “here’s the issue, here’s what you can do to fix it, now it’s on you”.
Someone else may do better with a softer approach making them feel validated and normal but still working towards a “solution” not just an endless “you are fine everyone else is weird”.
Highkey agree but I’m also saying even outside of a therapy setting the normalization of therapy speak kinda doesn’t sit right with me
I don’t always need to feel super safe and included. If anything that kinda talk makes me feel weird and uncomfortable tbh. Just be normal idk why that’s so hard.
