Ghosting is so much worse than just being told they aren’t interested and would like to cease conversation. Being ghosted leaves you to wonder what you did wrong and feeling a complete lack of closure for something you felt emotionally invested in.

I think your first mistake was telling her that she didn't need to message you on her vacation

Because that's obvious and the only real message it communicates is you aren't all that interested in her

Which like yeah don't come across as desperate but don't paint the image that you just don't care at all

Mostly I’m just confused bc things seemed fine so the ghosting entirely rather than it just being a vacation thing is odd
