e tDo you think people who would use AI to generate NLU type material would otherwise not attempt to get NLU type material? I feel like AI could be harm reduction in that sense since maybe there would be less incentive to generate REAL NLU material. Though, I am conflicted and unsure on this one tbh
I mean that’s a fair read tbf. But that’s kinda that argument that’s like lolli hentai and drawings etc is a good outlet for people who do feel that way irl already / would be likely to do it if they didn’t have anime p***

I don't even like other artists or people who make art and don't feel the need to support them
I like art and they make it but I wouldn't consider myself a fan of the artist themselves based on that
I don't find the specific process it takes to create the art to be especially valuable to me at all
I would still make art how I do it because I enjoy it
If people wanted to consume art they enjoyed and it wasn't created by people I genuinely don't care

But isn't it a big spectrum? Like surely you'd agree that there are a lot of computer aided things that are very good (even if you wouldn't want them to replace the original). Like being able to make a snare drum sound on a computer is cool
Not talking about you but I am seeing a dynamic develop where computerized = okay and AI = bad by default without understanding the overlap between them or what AI even means

We already have an appointment set up at her lifelong vet on Thursday morning.
I will be there regardless. Even if I was the only one with her, I’d still be there. She’s not going to die alone and scared, I will make sure of it.

Not everyone. Ofc we kind have to dabble in generalizations for a convo like this. I would assume the numbers are much lower or at least hope so
But I would also say the gap between a lolli enjoyer and a p3do isn’t huge at all.
Getting off to cartoon grown women and cartoon super sexualized children in compromising situations is very diff

Yeah, I get what you mean. It’s a bit of a shame that whenever we get more advanced in our tools, and their ability to aid the creative journey, we no longer are incentivized to learn the skills once required.
