Not too far off from an era of my life recently…
as long as you never discover the goth tag I am happy
I understand it. I can read it. I can write it. In theory I can speak it but that part is still hard I don’t like how I sound yet
Speaking is the worst part like if u not living in a country with it as the main language there is like a glass wall
U see how i sound in english
In my head i pronounce it perfectly but tje moment it leaves my mouth i sound horrible
the purp link is basically how we've been learning
I think other resources are good too, but I would just encourage you to give it a decent chance.. it's kind of a leap of faith for japanese because it's even slower for us to learn it.. but I believe in you
Bet bet
No matter how much u practise the only way to truly learn a language is live somewhere people speak it for a few months.
But u gotta practise before u do that
nope
I learned how to read in French before English, studied it in school for 13 years while my brain was developing and i was still thrown for a loop moving to montreal

I just like disagreeing with you
but I do think you cant truly access the speaking part until you speak with someone

Speaking only comes with practice but I hate how I sound so I don’t like to do it. My mouth ain’t used to making them noises
Verdad is not an English sound

As someone in the language learning community that has done what youre doing and studied it a lot more than you are and did that, In my experience it’s true. You cant learn the slang, dialects and just the experience of having to process it 24/7 unless youre immersed in it
Pesbians
