That upright bass
Wall of sound done right
second song you’ve shown me of theirs.. might have to peep a full album
Cole let us know time and time again that he wasn't the one
But I didn't listen
His Kanye diss only gets more relevant by the day tbh
Cole let us know time and time again that he wasn't the one
But I didn't listen
he’s operated in a similar lane as Logic and Joyner Lucas for awhile now and Im tired of being looked at as crazy when I say this!

He was but as I said he is not built for the other side of hip hop. He is about rapping but not about actually fighting to prove his worth.

perhaps tomorrow my friend

Also beef culture is lame and his apology is hopefully a way of ending it for good since it’s mostly on its way out
Drake stands to gain nothing by responding to this
perhaps tomorrow my friend
Lmk if you like it
It’s either their best or second best album

He was a college guy that played basketball and love hip hop. He never was on the tough guy vibe. But don't go on records and say you this and that and have an actual challenge then back out. Kendrick is honestly more about that life than Cole and Drake.

a tremendous amount of J Cole bars, soured within an instance.
Mac Miller was really the goat white boy

only non-corny white rapper that immediately comes to mind

Oh no I respect Cole the man for saying I am not on that energy. Absolutely. It's just going forward from a hip hop standpoint he can't be on I am the greatest tip.
and El-P

I think this is also a really lame argument against J Cole. All rappers say they this and that. That’s part of the art. The most ass rapper you ever heard in your life will say he’s the greatest it’s just part of the art
Also when I say lame argument it’s not aimed at you directly Joy Stick I mean like in the general discourse of it all

that part is fine, but talking about guns, and inviting competition when you’re not actually about it.. is goofy
maybe cole is about guns idk

If drake wins the beef he will win a lot for respect fr
I dont kendrick wins anything with the beef but drake does

I am a stan so I am not trying to diminish him, At the same time hip hop is about competition. And when you go on wax saying nobody can touch me and a challenge is made you better defend your position. Friend or not. He is not about that part of hip hop and that's okay. A lot of my faves would be considered "soft" It's about hip hop. I grew up in the 90's so I want to see a battle.
