Basically the optimal way to do it to literally to never level up and just grind the cards
Still great and interesting history but the system is just done wrong
dam i have to grind cards
i only got some of em but i didn't try battling anyone yet

I dont remember a lot because i played it long ago but only tips would be to always do some battle cards and to never try to grind exp, just battle s*** along the way
Because literally every enemy on the game scales with your level
So u dont gain advantage for leveling up
