Which I think is something you do to like avoid conflict and arguing
But to some that comes across as "this guy disagrees with me and thinks he's too good to even discuss it and views how I think as funny"

Once people get used to you I think this is how they almost always perceive it
But if someone is more like passionate with the way they discuss things that's more difficult (me when I'm in a bad mood, Kodak always)
It's not a bad behavior and not a huge deal but if the possibility bothers you you could try to like clarify that that isn't what you are trying to do I guess if they seem upset
