I studied between school and HS like 4 years of french and tbh nowdays i literally remember the words to yes, cat, dog and the number 40
Thats why I felt that if u dont keep up with it for years at least or use it in the end u will forgot so much
the informal/friendly french i've more or less forgotten tbh, pronunciation is still on point and the vocab is there but most of the informal slang is absolutely gone
